Pre Christmas Fun

Well, I'm working up the energy to put together a Christmas post. In the mean time I thought I'd make my job a little easier by posting these pictures of non-Christmas-y fun.

One day last week we went on a family date to the Melting Pot. I have to say I was actually VERY against the idea of taking the girls but we had a gift card that was expiring so we just went with it. In the end it was really, really fun and I'm so glad we did it. We went for their express lunch and told them we had to be out in an hour in a half so that helped make it more enjoyable for the kids. Also, they gave us this entire Christmas coloring book and a whole box of crayons so that helped lots too. I also may or may not have let Leah eat suckers for lunch in an effort to keep her quiet and happy.

I love, LOVE this picture. On our first trip to the Melting Pot for prom 2002 I never imagined something so precious as this would take place in the very same booth 12 years later.

My sister, Chrissie got this tea set at a white elephant gift exchange. How perfect is that?! Naomi and Leah had the time of their lives drinking enough tea to make them sick.
