Our newest nephew Simeon Jedediah came to visit from the Philippines last weekend. It was so great to see him in person and get to know him a little. Val calls him Sim but Josh has offered money to whoever is willing to call him Jedi so we heard that some throughout the weekend too. I can't believe how big Silas seems in comparison. I still feel like Silas is a baby but as the picture shows he is really getting to be pretty big.
Simeon brought all the kids a present too. They are our first legos! Nana help them put their little princess people together the first time and it's easy enough that Naomi and Leah can do it together by themselves now.

Naomi and Norah loved loving on baby Sim.
On Saturday morning the kids got out and helped Nana mulch her blueberry plants. They felt so big getting to "help" It's hard to see but even Silas was eager to help. He kept bending over and grabbing the bag just like everyone else.
Oh, and Val came too. She kinda had to since she is Simeion's soul source of nutrition. It was great to see her. I love when they come for visits because they are always making a point to eat their favorite foods. Val made a cheesecake on Saturday that was to die for. I'm way too lazy to make homemade cheesecake but can't wait till she comes back so she can make it again.
We put together an egg hunt to entertain the kids. Here they are all lined up and ready for the hunt.
Silas didn't really get the idea. Val and I kept encouraging him to grab the eggs but he just looked at them suspiciously.
He regretted those suspicious feelings in the end though. Looks like he's thinking "Shoot! There's candy inside. You could have mentioned that."
That evening we had a big amazing dinner. Leah couldn't wait so I snuck her a roll as a appetizer. Then she looked so cute digging into it I just had to capture it.
