The last few weeks have felt busy, busy. Not much has happened, really, just a lot of getting stuff done, getting together with folks we love, and taking random pictures. I love these post that capture life as is. Before I begin I must state that I love this little guy after bath! He's getting so darn big lately but when he's all wrapped up in a towel it's like he is a baby all over again for a few minutes. Sigh...
And then he'll do something so "big boy-ish" and that makes me sigh too. He loves when Jake gets the tools out and will not be deterred from trying to help.
Here we are on a playdate with our buddies Henry and Lilly. I can't believe how much things have changed since three years ago when we last took a play date picture.
Some of the Manthe cousins came to town to visit and have a blast. This picture is after one of our traditional Dairy Queen runs. As I'm sure you can imagine these runs are getting quite expensive lately. Good thing Jody is made of money.
We went to the apple orchard with the Davis clan. I love that place. Well, love the food actually (and I'm not talking about the apples) . I could eat apple cider doughnuts and kettle corn all. day. long.
We were at David and Brandy's house Saturday for the (incredibly amazing) Royals game. While we were so intent on the Royals come back I looked around to see no kids. Upon investigation we found the kids had paired off and started entertaining themselves. Leah and Ava started "baking" in the wood chips and Bronson took Silas to show him the joys of the springy doorstop. Naomi and Bo...actually, I'm not sure what they were doing but they weren't crying or fighting and that's all that matters, right?
