Feeling Fall

I am so, so, SO glad that the weather has finally cooled off. I'm ready to enjoy these last few weeks of my pregnancy minus the two ice packs I've been keeping in my armpits just so I don't pass out from the heat. We had the perfect day for our family cookout this year. I love everything that comes along with a fall cookout plus I love all these folks that showed up. It was a great time.

I had Jake take some maternity pictures of the kids and I. He did a great job. I had to laugh at some of the pictures, though, because I didn't realize how literally he would take my instructions. For this one I said I wanted it to be just of my stomach...and it was. He gets props for following directions for sure. And next time I will know to ask for shoulders to knees. Wait, never mind, there is not going to be a next time for this.
