Christmas

Christmas was on a Sunday this year which always makes things a little different. We are usually up and out the door on holidays but since church didn't start till 11 we had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the morning. Jeff and Courtney were staying at our house and we all got a chance to open stockings together and have some cinnamon rolls. I wish I had some pictures, it was a fun time. Then we all got around and dressed up for church. Everyone looked so cute in their Christmas attire I couldn't help snapping a few pictures at church too.

At Jennifer's we had a super fancy Christmas dinner of Prime Rib and all the fixings. Everyone even had little chocolate reindeer to mark their place setting.

The reindeer also doubled as an appetizer for some of us.

Then came the presents!

Jennifer started out the night cuddling grandkids on the floor but was soon settled into a nice new rocker for cuddling.

On Monday we celebrated Christmas with my family. I'm sure we had dinner but I can't remember exactly what it was. I do know there was homemade caramel, fudge, and toffee. That is possibly all I ate all day.

These girls used their new karaoke system to put out literally the cutest rendition of Let It Go ever. I wish you all could have seen it. My brother has a video. I imagine he will post it sometime this summer. ;)

I was floored that Naomi spent pretty much the entire day putting together her new beauty and the beast lego castle. I didn't know she had that in her.

My baby brother way, WAY out did himself this Christmas and got awesome presents for all the kids and matching Harry Potter pajama pants for all the siblings. We all got to choose our colors based on our favorite Harry Potter house. Since Jake isn't exactly up on his Hogwarts trivia, I told him to order Slytherin and he did. Tehehe. That just makes me giggle.
