Getting acclimated

We've been spending lots of time at home these day staying warm and getting used to the new groove.
There is never a dull moment round here, though. We got out the crayons one day and each girl got their very own work station.

The girls think it is a blast when Silas joins them for a dip in the tub. This was his first bath. He seemed to like it for a few minutes anyway.

I have two lovelies that like to help me cook now. Cooking is so much more fun with six hands.

Naomi loves having movie nights. Her favorites these days are Brave and Sleeping Beauty. Leah is still not really into TV but she loves to sit on the couch with her big sis.

This little man is getting bigger and bigger. He took a while to catch onto the nursing thing but he's got it down now. He likes to eat every 2-3 hours around the clock which has made sleeping a bit of a challenge hopefully that will change soon. Leah has defiantly noticed that he is here to push her out of her spot as the baby. She loves to help with and hold him but she also spends LOTS of time whining and crying. I hope the poor thing isn't scarred for life by this whole big sister thing.

  1. You are such a creative mom! So inspiring. =) I love the new pics of Silas. He's so sweet. OK, was the "cooking with six hands" comment sarcastic? It would be for me, but I know that you are a more patient mom than I am... =)

    1. Yes that was TOTALLY sarcastic! I spend the whole time making sure Leah isn't eating raw meat and Naomi isn't pouring the sugar shaker straight into her mouth. They are a disaster at the counter. I work really hard to remember I will miss the days they liked to help

  2. What a sweetie!!
Don't worry...Kylah was scarred by being ousted as the baby, but she's come into her own as the "middle child". :) Leah will do the same. :)

  4. It still seems surreal (to me) that you have a 3rd! I feel like I see the girls and you guys, but Silas is still a mystery. Darn cold weather & sickness! Can't wait to see him out and about (and hopefully sleeping more for you)!
