Easter

On Easter Saturday we got up bright and early and headed to Grandma and Poppi's house for breakfast. My kids love to help cook there. I think we may have to start taking turns soon because cooking with this many hands is pretty exhausting.

After breakfast we headed out to find Easter eggs. Becky filled over 70 eggs for the kids and they found them all...twice! And have found them again (hidden inside our house) every day since then. It's crazy to me how it never gets old.

I love the moment they discover there is candy inside the eggs. After I opened this one for him, Silas took out his paci and gently set it on the ground- sucking end up.

After that, Silas logged some time in the swing with my dad.

and then Leah joined the fun.

After lunch we headed home for nap but the rest of the adults went to my brothers house for more birthday and Easter fun. His girls were pretty sick so they had to keep the fun short and adults only. Even though we didn't go, my camera did so it's almost like I got to take part.

 By the way, I'm so proud of my sis who did awesome defending her thesis this week. She's a rock star!
