Happy Opening Day

I've been so excited to put Naomi in this cute little outfit I got at a garage sale in town. Yeah, so I guess no one's proud to be a Chief's fan tonight but I still think she make a pretty cute cheerleader.

In my latest attempt to get a picture of Naomi's teeth I ended up with this picture which I really love. And also a not-so-in-focus one of her teeth but it will have to do for now.

Ok. Get excited. I'm ready to unveil my most current project that I am SO proud of. I've really been dying to recover my rocking chair but at my current skill level I'm sure it would be a giant mess. And practice makes perfect, right? So I decided to start out with something a little easier.

Can you believe I did that??!! I can't either. I really have to give some credit to the awesome lady at Make it and Love it who makes awesome tutorials. I also made a bag for my Bible recently using one of her tutorials. I love it!

P.S. I would like to take a second to publicly thank my wonderful mom who bought me a sewing machine for my birthday and THEN paid to have it fixed when broke it and the royally messed it up by trying to fix it myself. Thanks, mom. You're the best!

  1. Awesome job on the high chair! I'm so impressed! I was going to recover the car seat if we had a girl. I can't wait to check out that link you posted.
